Founded in 1986, the Grazer Kunstverein is a member-based organization, dedicated to the production, presentation, and promotion of contemporary art. Membership is first and foremost a symbolic gesture declaring belief in the importance of culture and appreciation for contemporary art. Your support contributes to the realization of the program and therefore fosters and stimulates the development of artistic practice.
Besides these aspects, a member has the following benefits:

The members program is managed by our artistic director and the Kunstverein members themselves who are actively involved in the programming of the members-for-members events. These take on a myriad of forms, and cater to both our local and international audiences as both virtual and in-person events. All members are welcome and encouraged to propose ideas for the program.
